Aloha Vibes and Luxurious Stays: Unraveling the Magic of Sheraton Princess Kaiulani on Oahu!

A recap of our visit to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Honolulu, HI. First, let me start by saying if you’re thinking about booking a vacay to Hawaii, do it! The weather, food & views are totally worth it!

The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel is located in Waikiki Beach. It’s conveniently located in an area with lots of options for food & shopping, which suited our needs for this trip. The beach is located across the street & is an easy 5 minute walk.

Seaside Bliss

View from hotel balcony of the ocean

One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the stunning Waikiki Beach right at our doorstep. The surreal view of the Pacific Ocean was just a few steps away from our cozy and elegantly furnished room. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore was a dream come true!

Views for days

What I loved – The view! Our room was located on the 17th floor in the Ainahua Tower which provided a beautiful view of the ocean, city & pool area. I was able to watch the sun rise each morning, which is one of my favorite things to do while traveling. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy & housekeeping was very attentive. The hotel offers daily classes such as lei making, hula & ukulele lessons. One of the perks that I can’t forget to mention – you can rent a GoPro from the concierge desk during your stay. Classes & GoPro rental were available at no additional charge.

Some downsides

What I didn’t love – The rooms were on the smaller side & the bathrooms were a bit dated. The food & drinks available at the hotel restaurant & bar were pretty pricey. We ordered one $18 pina colada during our visit & it was mediocre. Some of our family members traveling with us stayed in lowered floored rooms so the views weren’t as gorge as ours. When checking in, be sure to mention you’d like a killer view. The higher your room is, the better your view will be.

Nearby Attractions

One cool thing we experienced was not really associated with the hotel, but with the location – A Farmers Market located right outside of the hotel. The street was lined with local artisans, food truck and local fairs from the islanders. We were able to snag some great souvenirs and grab a bite to eat while enjoying some live street performers.

When we weren’t lounging on the beach or enjoying the hotel’s amenities, we explored the wonders of Oahu. The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani’s prime location allowed us easy access to iconic spots like Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, and the lively Kalakaua Avenue.

Overall, I found the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani to be a great place for a large family to stay. We had 13 people traveling together & there was something for everyone. If you are just visiting Waikiki, a car rental wouldn’t be needed as places are close enough to walk to. So, pack your bags, head to Oahu, and let Sheraton Princess Kaiulani weave its enchanting spell on you!
