Luxury Accommodations at Bruma Wine Resort : How Bruma’s Patio Design and Inspired My Own

Since this was a short getaway, we chose to stay at one of the three accommodation options the Bruma Wine Resort had to choose from. We stayed at Casa 8. Now this is where our experience was further elevated. The whole resort is made up of gorgeous architecture. They somehow manage to seamlessly marry the natural elements of the environment while incorporating a contemporary feel.

The villas have a rustic old world charm, minimalist design but cozy , however the floor-to ceiling windows offer an unforgettable view of the vineyard and mountainscapes. I love bringing the outside in and this is a perfect way to do it. Whether laying in bed looking out the large windows or sitting out on the patio sipping a glass of wine you are sure to feel relaxed in this modern luxury oasis.

The patio spaces feel like an extension of the vineyard itself, offering shaded areas to relax while still being completely immersed in nature. This seamless indoor-outdoor living vibe inspired my own patio makeover back home! I adopted Bruma’s aesthetic by incorporating similar elements like exposed wood beams, natural stone and concrete accents, an outdoor changing room, large French doors leading to our patio with wide-open views.

I’ll insert photos here of our outdoor living area inspired by this trip. I know our views aren’t as magical as Villa de Guadalupe, but the design brings me back every time I sit on my patio. We chose to take the wooden beams throughout our entire outdoor area. We added concrete planters and filled in areas with rock to keep the rustic but clean design. Now, every time I relax on my patio, I’m reminded of the calming elegance of Bruma Wine Resort.

Farm-to-Table Dining

Another great aspect of Bruma is their commitment to their community including sustainable farm-to-table offerings at their restaurant, Fauna. They use local ingredients to create delicious flavorful food that represents their own culture and heritage. The menu changes based on the seasons ensuring food is always fresh and so are the ideas for new dishes. This is a great way to taste the culture right on your plate.

Planning Your Visit to Bruma Wine Resort

Incorporating Bruma Wine Resort’s architecture into my own home was a testament to how impactful travel can be.
