Christmas at the Miramar Rosewood

Christmas at the Miramar Rosewood is a wonderful experience that combines the traditional holiday spirit with the luxury and elegance of this iconic Montecito beachfront resort. The property is beautifully decorated for the season, with sparkling lights, festive ornaments, and wreaths adorning every corner.

The upper property was classic Montecito with beautiful trees and then you go past the railroad tracks and there is an entire beach world down below. You can’t help but feel like you’re in a romantic movie with all of the nostalgia as the train wizzes past you.

The rooms and suites at the Miramar Rosewood are spacious and elegantly appointed, featuring luxurious amenities such as plush bedding, marble bathrooms, and high-end technology. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean or the lush gardens from their private balconies or terraces.

Bathroom and Products

You can find fig diptyque soaps amply available throughout the hotel. Shampoo conditioner body wash unlimited in the shower. However, the location of the showerhead in the massive shower was not thought out. And once you got out of the shower you are only met with three large, two hand and two washcloths, not the really sufficient for both of us.

The grounds included an adult and family pool, which allows for your choice of pool experience.
We didn’t use the spa or gym on this trip, but the outdoor treadmills looked very inviting, maybe on our next visit we’ll squeeze in some reps.

The hotel offers a variety of holiday activities and events, including gingerbread house decorating, festive cocktails and dining options, and even a visit from Santa Claus. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We love a pet friendly hotel and they didn’t disappoint by providing bowls and a bed for dogs in the room. At every outdoor trash can complimentary dog waste bags were available. It felt like home seeing all the dogs roaming the grounds. We would definitely feel comfortable bringing our pups next time.

Dining Options

Lunch at Caruso’s by the beach was spectacular. The food was exceptional and the service was great. The decor is impeccable, but you really can’t beat the view!

We also tried AMA Sushi, which was recommended in the 2022 Michelin Guide, however we weren’t really impressed with the Sushi Omakase

The Revere Room wasn’t much to look at, it’s clean and simple, but there’s no atmosphere, it leaves you with the impression of an overpriced cafeteria. Once you step outside the Revere Room you can take in the breathtaking lawn view.

If you want something with a little more elegance you can enjoy a handcrafted cocktail at The Manor Bar with a classic and fun atmosphere.

For Christmas Eve dinner I wore a Brooks Brothers classic black short dress, with Gucci Leather Platform Espadrilles and a Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse watch that matched perfectly with the black and gold theme.

Mr. Deets wore his signature quarter zip from Loro Piana.

Conclusion

Overall, Christmas at the Miramar Rosewood is a magical experience that combines the holiday spirit with the luxury and beauty of this stunning Santa Monica resort. It’s the perfect place to celebrate the season with family and friends or to escape for a romantic getaway.

Anyone from any country, any city could fly in to stay here and it would be worth it. Summer or winter. I can only imagine how fun this place is in the summer.
